Adam Gilbert received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of Evansville and began working with Advanced Rehabilitation Inc in August of 2018. Prior to joining the ARI team, he worked at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. During his undergraduate work in exercise science with minor in sports psychology, Adam competed in cross country at the DI level. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and works with the Jasper High School cross country team as assistant coach.
Adam utilizes manual techniques including joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, functional dry needling, and ASTYM®. He also focuses on movement patterns and gait analysis to guide manual techniques and exercises to optimize function and reduce risk of injury. Much of his focus is on recovery from running related injuries, and works in the community for injury prevention for runners and athletes of all levels. He also enjoys working with a variety of neurological conditions, and orthopedic and work related injuries.
Adam is a husband and proud father of three. He is a competitive runner and enjoys traveling and spending time with his family.
