Amanda graduated from the University of Evansville in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Athletic Training and an Associate’s degree for Physical Therapist Assistant.
During her time at the University of Evansville, Amanda worked with the collegiate teams for men’s soccer, baseball, swimming, and cross country as well as the women’s basketball, softball, tennis, and cross country teams. In 2008, her junior year, Amanda worked with the North High School football team and had the privilege to work with the NHL team, the Nashville Predators, for post draft pick testing. During her senior year, Amanda was the Senior Athletic Trainer for the women’s softball team and assisted with on field testing, return to play rehabilitation programs and helped administer pre-season physicals. She has provided Athletic Training services for Tell City Jr./Sr. High School since 2015 and is an ImPACT (Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Test) trained Athletic Trainer.
Amanda joined Advanced Rehabilitation in 2010 and has completed certification in ASTYM® manual therapy technique, DSI Work Solutions Job Function Analysis, Job Function Matching®, and is a Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist II. Her clinical experience has focused on the treatment of orthopedic, sports and work related injuries including post-surgical rehabilitation. Amanda has over 6 years of regional experience in industrial rehabilitation, work injury prevention, industrial and office ergonomics, early intervention and work injury management services. She has developed and given company and occupational specific trainings. Amanda has consulted in a variety of occupational setting including foundry, furniture, transportation, wood, paper, pipeline, laboratory, and aerospace industries.
